In 2011, he transitioned to Merrill Lynch, where he expanded his capabilities in portfolio management and financial planning, serving a broad range of clients and refining his client-first philosophy.
In 2021, Trey joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Senior Vice President in Bee Cave, Texas. At Wells Fargo, he focuses on comprehensive financial strategies, helping individuals and families plan for long-term wealth and financial confidence. He co-owns a restaurant in Northwest Austin and, alongside his brother, launched a bar in Leander, Texas in 2019. In 2023, Trey expanded his hospitality portfolio with the acquisition of a majority stake in a fine-dining establishment in Austin with a loyal following. Having been a longtime patron, Trey saw an opportunity to preserve the restaurant’s legacy while positioning it for future growth, including potential expansion. He collaborates closely with his partners to ensure that the restaurant maintains its high standards and beloved character.

Trey received his B.B.A and M.B.A in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1999 and is licensed with Series 7 and 66 registration. Trey splits his time between Austin and Dallas enjoying family activities with his kids Kade and Camryn.
